Our Origin
The Charlotte Region Arts Fibers and Textiles (CRAFT) Guild is based in Charlotte, NC. It was founded in 2021 by nine women who shared the love of creating things with their hands. The group consists of crafters of all skill levels, but who all share a common interest in learning new crafts or techniques, sharing ideas, and forming new connections.
Our mission is to foster a community of crafters who desire to learn more about the fiber arts and spread the magic of crafting to those who have not found it yet. Each year we provide opportunities for members to volunteer in the community, participate in yarn bombs, provide exclusive classes to members, and partner with our community to find ways to give back.
