Pin Loom Weaving Class – October 11 from 10:00-3:00pm
Location: University City Regional Library
Instructor: Linda Weghorst, Guild Member
Learn to weave beautiful accessories with tapestry and beading techniques. Pin loom weaving will be used to create elegant pins and neckpieces. Basic tapestry weaving and finishing techniques will be utilized. Fiber and bead information will be amply illustrated. No experience in weaving or beading is necessary for this enjoyable and portable art form.
*A project will not be completed in the workshop. However, all supplies provided will be taken home with participants so projects can be completed.
Clothing Swap – October 12 from 2:00-5:00pm
Location: Elissa’s House (Lower South End area, address provided after sign-up).
Want to make room in your house for more crafting supplies? Want to refresh your wardrobe sustainably? Bring your gently used clothing and accessories to our Guild Member Clothing Swap event! All styles and sizes are welcome.
What to Bring:
- Bring your gently used clothing and accessories. No severely damaged/stained items please.
- Bring a bag to help you carry home your new finds
- If you’d like, you can also bring a beverage or snack to share. Some light snacks and beverages will be provided.
(Since we’re including sizes in the signup form, Elissa will let you know in advance if you’re the only one in a particular size range).

Needle Felted Fall Landscape Workshop – October 18 from 12:00-4:00pm
Location: Sugar Creek Library
Instructor: Jennifer Costa
Learn to needle felt a beautiful work of art! During this workshop you will be provided with instruction on “painting with wool” from local artist Jennifer Costa, and all the materials you need, including the frame. There is enough time to complete your project during the workshop, so you leave with your new art ready to display!
